Spanning over two decades, award-winning Chef Daniel Vieira has worked in some of the world's best kitchens, alongside Michelin-starred chefs. Whether working in Europe, running kitchens through 18-hour shifts serving over 1,000 guests a night at Walt Disney World, Daniel went on to hold the role of Executive Chef and Operational Director at one of South Africa's leading catering companies.

In this role he catered for many illustrious occasions like the G20, the Durban July, LIV Golf and Starlight Classics, cooking for Sheikhs, Presidents and Royalty. Chef Daniel's obsession with detail, flavour and presentation defines every plate.

Daniel then went on to realise his lifelong dream — opening Garnish Catering and Events. At Garnish, every dish is a piece of art: plated to be admired, and prepared to taste just as good as it looks. It's a standard Chef Daniel upholds personally, perfecting every plate before it leaves the kitchen — the very philosophy the name Garnish was built on.

Chef Daniel's love of real, honest food traces back to his Portuguese, Greek and Italian roots, where family life revolved around the kitchen. That same care now goes into everything Garnish touches, from weddings and private events to simple home-cooked meals for a family table.
